Important Dates:
- 03/01: A STEM mentor will be assigned to you. Their contact info will be provided by email. All interactions with your STEM mentor must be through virtual meetings only and a parent must be present at all times. Having issues getting a hold of your STEM mentor? E-mail asadhu@gmail.com
- 03/08: (Optional) Review Project Category Idea w/Mentor
- 03/15: Finalize Project Selection
- 04/14: Submit Project Video using Google Form.
- Drop off 36"x48" Trifold Science Fair Poster to school (Date & Details to be announced). Blank poster boards can be purchased from Walmart or JoAnn's.
- First round judging will be virtual using video submissions
- 04/19 During School: Finalists will present thier project to the judges at school
- 04/19 At STEM EXPO Night: Winners announced

Student assignments will be emailed by 03/01.
Recommend 3 virtual meetings. Reminder: All meetings must be virtual and a parent must be present at all times.
Recommended Check-ins:
- Meeting 1: Introductions and review of project categories / ideas
- Meeting 2: Help students work through the project description template (See welcome packet)
- Meeting 3: Review students Technical Check-up template (See welcome packet)
Please familiarize yourself with the student's welcome packet. Have 2 to 3 project ideas ready just in case your student needs some inspiration.
